We are excited to announce the launch of our first Bitcoin teller machine in Chambly, QC @ 1490 Boulevard Brassard in the Ultramar Gas Station.

My name is Lev (right) and my partner’s name is Akif (left), and we are excited to work with you.

Our mission is simple: make crypto so simple even your grandma understands how to buy!

At the moment, we accept transactions below 995CAD within 24 hours, non-KYC, only your phone number is required where an SMS code is sent. We are working on integrating transactions above 1,000CAD and these will include a regular KYC: name, address, occupation and government-sanctioned ID.

What is KYC?

KYC stands for Know your Customer and this is a procedure set forth by FINTRAC and Revenu Québec that requires any person that transacts above a certain threshold in cash to be identified. This procedure exists to control for money laundering, funding of illegal activities such as terrorism and purchases of prohibited goods to name a few. It also exists to protect the consumer from being victims of identity theft or financial fraud as these transactions commend an additional level of scrutiny and the IDs are verified for authenticity at the kiosks.

When do you KYC?

No KYC below 995CAD. SMS verification only.

KYC above 1,000CAD.

We ask for the following if above 1,000$ –

• First & Last Name
• Date of Birth
• Address
• Occupation
• Government ID (with photo)

Moreover, our spread is currently at 13% and we will evaluate as we grow if we can offer more competitive rates.
